Never watch the English Dub

I watched all my animes in Japanese voice and English subtitles. NEVER EVER EVER watch an anime that has english dub. It ruins the content of the anime itself. I've seen some ridiculous voices used in anime and its just plain retarded and stupid. In America, they use the same people to do voice dubs for almost all animes and I don't like that. They should pick the right people to voice the right characters. Yes in Japan they also use the same people to voice most animes, but the content itself it original and its a whole lot better. I despise english dub, expecially when its dub on a foreign film, like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. It kills the movie content badly. I remember seeing a Full Metal Panic Dub, I immediately turn that **** off.

There are some good anime English dubs that are are decent. Some examples are Ghost in the Shell the movie, Cowboy Bebop and the best english dub I've think I've seen so far was Spirited Away.

In fact, the english dub version of Spirited Away was more understandable than the Japanese dub because there were some parts that wasn't understandable. Good thing Disney people who did the english script for Spirited Away did an excellent job.

You're right. My sis bought the first 3 volumes of Fruit Basket and I can't stand watching them in english I have to wtch them in japanese

i completely agree....the first anime i got was sailor moon (didn't want it...it was a gift.) and it sounds plain retarted with dubs. Spirited Away does quite a good job with dubs, but i like it in Japanese too.
