for anyone who hasn't seen this movie, here's the summary: www.rottentomatoes.com/m/spirited_away/about.phpthis movie is truly enchanting. not only does it have great art but the characters are excellent, and the plot is amazing. i think this movie was one of the first anime's i've seen, and an unforgettable one at that.

Spirited Away was the animated movie that really really really touched the bottom of my heart. My sister introduced the movie to me and OMG OMG OMG. As soon as I finished watching that movie, I was so obsess and uplifted. It's such a marvelous movie. I never even imagine such a movie that made me so move. I watched the behind the scenes like so many times and I even got the two soundtracks to it and a book full of postcards of pics from the movie. I was completely obsess for like the first 3 weeks after watching that movie.
I remember I saw it when Matrix Reloaded came out. My friend ask me which movie I thought was better Spirited Away or Matrix Reloaded. I said both were great and he thought I made a wierd decision.
Oh man fairylore, you made me remember everything of Spirited Away. LOL
The person behind the master piece of Spirited Away is Hayao Miyazaki. If you like Spirited Away watch his other animated movies: Kiki's Delivery Service, Nausicaa Of the Valley of the Wind, Mononoke Hime, Laputa Castle in the Sky, Whisper of the heart, Grave of the Fireflies.
Each of his movies are great master pieces. Some of his movies hit Top #250 on imdb.com.

anyway, i saw Kiki's Delivery Service, and i guess it was ok. it certainly wasn't as enchanting as Spirited Away, tho. i don't think anything is.
