This post is for the people who had a hard understanding of Volume 8. And of course spoilers
Ok sorry I don't remember much because I read the manga like couple months ago.
So in the part where Freya is in control of Chi, she keeps asking Hideki if he was still willing to love Chi even though Chi can't do some certain things. And those certain things would include "making love".
Now if you think about, a real couple, all those two need are only each other. As long as the partner is there. Nothing else is needed. And of course, in a sense, sex would not be needed. So Hideki not caring about sex and thats what he feels in his heart, chooses to be with Chi. If you think about it, if Hideki makes love to Chi, that would touch her reset button and she would be a totally different person. This would ultimately prove the "Someone Just for Me" person would sacrifice anything for just being with Chi. And Hideki is the perfect "Someone Just For Me" person for Chi.

ohhhhhhhhh i see!
i have only read up to book 7
but i have watched all the episodes so i know what happens!
i only thought Chii couldnt do things such as eat, or dream, or pee LOL
and after her program is installed ( when she chooses Hideki) she cries and- tears come out... and dita blushes
also Ueda was married to his persocom... of course they would of had sex
wouldnt that mean she can? ...have sex i mean....
i dont think its dirty and i dont think hideki would only want sex from her ... but when 2 people are in love thats just what happens its only natural.......
but maybe i was wrong i guess
I dont mean to sound dirty but i think that unfair! LOL

Persocoms are not humans and no a human can't have sex with a persocom.
Well maybe in some exceptions, because I remember a part in the manga where Ueda the baker said "Well. . . there are some people... who want to do the "DEED" with their persocom". But a persocom is nonhuman. Therefore, it'll never experience what exaclty sex is in terms of humans. (Unless a smart computer programmer makes a program for it, LOL)
The anime TV version of the episode you saw MissChii, I think it was kind of confusing for you. I prefer for you to read the manga Volume 8 to understand it.
And the part where Dita blushes, why she blushes? Chi's hidden program has been activated and it affects every persocom in the world. This program gives something to Persocoms that makes them feel, almost human. Thats why, the part when you see Chi's eyes and all other persocoms eyes, turn humanlike, they gain the ability to feel like a human mind, or have feelings of humans.

to reply to a bunch of things, Ueda-san and his persocom probably could have had sex since only Chii's button was located there. in the manga or anime it says that most persocoms buttons are in their mechanical ears. and to support what anime32 said, Chii's program made all persocoms able to do what she can: have emotions, and find the "someone just for them." the manga explains a lot more than the anime.
